My three babies!
The boy and I decided we didn't want no stinkin hair cuts in 2007
Finally had to give in to "the man" after too many comments about how pretty my "two girls" were..

I'm a Dale Sr. Fan for life. He was the
greatest driver the sport ever had, and though I think NASCAR is the
greatest, mano-a-mano sport out there, it's only half what it was when
Dale was with us.
I've been a Junior fan since before his Busch Series days. Junior's my main driver now - I loved watching him race his dad. I also loved it when he beat him! Even though Dale was still my favorite, I just related to the father/son competition and couldn't help pulling for the son. As a father myself, I know that Dale probably wasn't ever prouder than when Junior beat him. Pissed a little at not winning, but proud! I prefer "traditional" NASCAR type personalities: Smoke, I'm real excited about his new team; Happy Harvick: the man who stepped into the #3 car after Dale's death and did way better than anyone could expect out of a completely green rookie. He did honor to the team and probably saved RCR racing. I like both of them a lot for their competitive spirit and their love of the sport. I'm real excited to see what they will do in the future as owners! I like a lot of other drivers, the "blue collar" types mainly: Burton, Bowyer, Biffle, Kenseth... I don't really warm up to the corporate types like Gordon, Jimmie and Edwards, but I respect their talent... especially the #48 Knaus/JJ team... but you won't see me rooting for them. I respect Shrub for his talent, but he needs to grow up, and in no way do I equate him as the "2nd coming" of Dale. Fools who make that comparison are just showing their ignorance of the sport. I'm real excited about Austin Dillon (Richard Childress' grandson) making his way up through the ranks. We'll probably see him in a Cup race or two in '09. He's driving the #3 car in honor of his grandfather. I just hope he keeps in mind that he'll be representing Dale's legacy also, and gives proper respect. He's shown he has the talent, and as long as he shows due respect to Dale, I'll be OK seeing him driving the #3 in Cup. I can't neglect to mention Dale's old buddy and Harvick's driver in the Truck Series: Ron Hornaday! What a man! Love to watch him race! I hope he has many more years and many more Championship's ahead of him! Above all, I just love the sport! I could do without a few of them, Kurt Busch in particular, but it'd take a lot more than him and his type to chase me away from the sport! NASCAR is a way of life!
