Fontana

March 26th, 2012

Tony is the first 2 time winner so far this year. Yep it was rain shortened and things may have change but that’s the way things go. Is it just me but it seems an area can be in a couple year drought and as soon as Nascar comes to town they have rain. LOL

Sounds like the lucky one was Jimmie finishing 10th and having a sudden oil leak sure saved him a trip to the garage and ending up laps down. Chad was kinda funny on the radio when everyone started talking about the smoke and oil leak and he came back with the comment “What makes ya think we have an oil leak?” about then the car went past.

Dale had a good run and sounded like he was happy with the car. Makes ya wonder if this could’ve been his week.

I’m sure watching the pre-race programs all weekend everyone has heard about some of the fans and drivers wanting Bristol go be the way things used to be. I thought it was pretty good side-by-side racing and good passing. But the old Bristol was always good also with the drivers using the bumper to pass. I guess it depends on if ya like cautions or long green flag laps. I guess Dale said it best “It is what it is”   What do ya think keep it or redo it again???????

Have a Great weekend

Week 3

March 12th, 2012

3 weeks and 3 different winners.  Some have been having better runs than in the past and others that we figured would continue to be the love of the media have not been the center of attention.

Some of the new paint jobs this week looked good and I know I’m going to stir the pot and maybe make a few mad but is it just me or is it hard to pick out Dale’s car in a pack?

BTW: I know everyone knows Dale has added JPM Daytona car to his collection I wonder if the jet dryer is going to be sitting with it?

This week is Bristol so I’m sure the body shops will be busy Monday morning. What better track to get that long overdue payback some need.

Daytona 500!!!

March 1st, 2012

Well its in the record book not only for being the first ever to be run on Monday and at night to boot. Overall I thought it was worth the wait. Great finish for Matt and Jr. Sounds like Chad might get a 6 week vacation pending appeal.

But I guess the man the made the whole night one that everyone will remember for years was JPM. I just glad all walk away safely.

If ya watched the replays I wonder what the driver of the jet blower last in line was thinking when JPM went pass him sideways?

Our many thanks and a BIG  well done goes out to Ironman for all his work with 4wide!!!!!

Don’t forget to make your picks for 4Wide!!!

Have a Great weekend
